Jennifer Hudson playing Winnie Mandela

Jennifer Hudson will be playing Winnie Mandela opposite Morgan Freeman (playing Nelson Mandela again) in the upcoming film, Winnie, according to Variety. Production of the film starts on 30 May, on location in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Robben Island and the Transkei, under the direction of Darrell Roodt (Yesterday, Cry, The Beloved Country and Sarafina).
