Crash star Dennis Hopper is divorcing his fifth wife, Victoria Duffy, on his deathbed to prevent her contesting his will, which leaves her “only” a quarter of his estate. The New York Post reports that Dennis has banned her from his bedside, and that he released the following statement to the media: "I wish Victoria the best, but [I] only want to spend these difficult days surrounded by my children and close friends." According to the Huffington Post, though, friends of the couple claim the statement was released by Dennis’s daughter Marin, who’s pushing for the split despite her father’s unstable mental condition.
