Now that Michael Jackson has finally been buried, he’s causing an increase in demand for burial plots near his tomb in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park near Los Angeles. Plots that were going for $7 000 (R52 500) are now selling for $9 900 (R74 250) – a 41% increase! The owner of a double burial unit inside MJ’s mausoleum is offering the double burial spot for $34 000 (R255 000) – and says he’s been getting a lot of interest so far.
