Ugly Betty has scored 3rd Rock from the Sun star Kristen Johnson (who played Sally) as a regular in the Mode offices, after negotiations with former American Idol judge Paula Abdul broke down. Entertainment Weekly reports that Paula was set to play Helen, a new Mode office temp, but negotiations broke down as a result of Paula’s crazy demands (which, apparently, included a private jet). Kristen is thrilled to have landed the part and says her character is like “Amanda in 10 years. She’s still trying to get into the right clubs, wearing tight dresses… tragic.
