Leona Lewis puts her morals where her mouth is

Lovely Leona Lewis threatened to boycott the 2010 Brit Awards unless the organisers took notoriously cruel gourmet treat pate foie gras off the menu (foie gras is made by force-feeding geese until their livers swell up). Producers sat up and listened, and a grateful Leona tweeted, “The Brits menu sadly won't be 'cruelty-free', however it is still a major victory & they are taking an ethical stance! Well done and thank you."
