The UK’s Daily Mail claims all those denials are nonsense, and that Idol star Simon Cowell IS engaged, and wants hordes of mini-Simons running about insulting things. The paper claims Simon (50) has proposed to make-up artist Mezghan Hussainy (36), who’s been seen wearing a ring on her “put a ring on it” finger. If he is engaged, though, he hasn’t told his publicist, Max Clifford, who told US magazine, “I spoke to Simon in London yesterday afternoon, just before he took his flight back to LA. I asked him: `Look, are you engaged? Is it true?,’ and he said, ‘No! No. I'm not engaged.’” And we all know publicists never lie. Maybe he’s not engaged, but already married!
