Grey’s Anatomy star TR Knight told Entertainment Weekly he turned his nose up at Grey’s and decided to leave after George cheated on his wife Callie (Sara Ramirez) with his best mate Izzie (Katherine Heigl) – and was then downgraded to about half the screen time his co-stars were getting. On top of that, he claims he was dealing with an uncomfortable work environment, because he couldn’t trust show runner Shonda Rhimes to tell him the truth about which direction George was headed in. “My five-year experience proved to me that I could not trust any answer that was given.
