Cherry Jones (52), who plays 24’s Madam President, has split from her long-time partner Sarah Paulson. Whispers of a split arose at the Emmys, when Cherry neglected to thank Sarah in her speech while accepting her Outstanding Supporting Actress award. Her family and agent got a nod, but not Sarah. Cherry told US Weekly the omission wasn’t behind the split, though. "We're not together any more, but we're still dearest of friends. If I had said her name, the rest of the night that's all anybody from the press would have asked me about. I just wanted to keep it focused on my family. That's the back-story.
