According to Soap Opera Central, CBS and SONY have renegotiated with Y&R star Eric Braeden, so Victor Newman won’t be leaving Genoa City for good. Phew. A far cry from their original “You’re out” message, which Eric showed the press, CBS have now said, “We're very happy that Eric will be remaining with The Young and the Restless. Victor Newman has been an important part of the Genoa City canvas for nearly 30 years, and we know our audience will be tuning in to see what his plans are next."
